or underground cabling or on switchgear and MCC Panels
Low sensitivity range and a high capability range through 72kV
Range selector switch is conveniently located in a protected
area on the back of the meter housing
Two degrees of sensitivity are offered by this unit, capacitance
and direct line contact
“Capacitance Test" will produce a minimum one third scale deflection
at 300 volts
Contact with the capacitance test point of a separable elbow
connector carrying 25kV will also produce a two thirds scale deflection
When the unit is placed on “Direct Line", higher voltages
can be checked through 72kV
Shielded tester reads only the contacted test point; no stray
fields will be indicated
Proof tester included with every unit
Maximum operating temperature range -20°F to +140°F (-30°C
to +60°C)
