For years utilities have been wanting a portable and affordable VLF, AC
Sinewave Hipot to avoid the damaging effects of DC testing on underground
power cables. The wait is over. Three test frequencies are offered to provide
greater cable length test capability. They are: .1 Hz, .05 Hz and .02 Hz.
Up to 5.5 ufd loads can be tested.

Aerial Lift/Bucket Truck Tester Model ALT-120 |
The ALT-120 features a constant, full kVA tap at 60k kV AC. It also
has
the highest rated power and duty rating available in the market. Input line
power only requires a 120 V or 230 Vac. It features a low range 0-250 uA
current meter scale and meets the ANSI A92.2 testing requirements for insulated
work platforms. It is ideal for the many HV testing requirements of utilities
and industry.

DC Hipot/Megohmmeter Combination Units |
These instruments contain both a high voltage DC Hipot and Megohmmeter both
with continuously variable output. The two-in-one design saves time, money,
size, and weight. Also, they are LINE REGULATED, rated at 10mA, continuous
duty compared to the 5mA, intermittent duty of alternatives. They also feature
a Full Wave Rectified bridge circuit.

AC 50/60 Hz Hipots-Portable |
These units are designed with capacitive compensation. A 3kVA capacitive load can be tested with only 1 kVA of input draw. They are the smallest and most portable of any others and run on only 120 Vac input. Great for switch gear, small transformers, vacuum interrupters and bottles and general AC Hipot testing of electrical components and overhead apparatus. Three range Current meter and Guard/Ground circuit option is available.

CDS Series - Bipolar Cable Fault Locator |
The CDS Series are self-contained portable combination Hipot, Burner, Fault Locator test sets for use on primary cable systems. It is designed to provide constant energy at three different switch selectable output voltages. The Controlled Energy feature gives you the ability to "thump" at a lower voltage with a higher energy. This is the preferred method for testing primary cable. When in continuous mode, the CDS Series alternatives between positive and negative thumps to reduce residual DC space charges left on the cable
